Before founding Provenance, Kobe was an income tax auditor with the Canada Revenue Agency, the job where you sit on the verifying side of the table and check whether what was reported matches what can be proven. It teaches you to see how an organization actually runs underneath what it says about itself.

When the operations are documented, the numbers are clean, and the team can run the place without the owner in every decision, the business is easier to run, easier to hand off, and worth more. Our job is the one none of them offer: training your team and installing the operations that make the business run.
