Your Health Check pack

Your report, and the templates
to act on it.

The full report on what your score means and your next 90 days, plus three templates and guides you can use this week. Read them here, or print the page and put them on the wall.

1. The full report: what your score means, and your next 90 days

Thank you for taking the Health Check. Here is how to read your score and, more useful, what to do about it.

If you scored 28 to 36, Strong. Your operations are in good shape. The risk at this level is quiet erosion: a rhythm that slips, a number you stop watching, a key person who leaves with knowledge in their head. Your next 90 days are about protecting what works and finding the one or two levers that take you from good to hard to beat.

If you scored 18 to 27, Owner-reliant. The business works, but it works because of you. This is the most common place to be and the most fixable. The business is not broken; it is undocumented and it lives in your head. Your next 90 days are about getting it out of your head and into a system your team can run.

If you scored 0 to 17, Firefighting. Right now, you are the operating system. Every decision, every fire, every day. That is exhausting and it caps your growth at the size of your own week. Your next 90 days are about buying yourself room to breathe by fixing the few things that cause the most chaos.

Wherever you landed, the path runs through the same four levers. Fix them in this order.

Lever 1, the operating rhythm. Most owner-run businesses run on interruption. A regular, short meeting rhythm replaces ten interruptions with one predictable conversation. Start with one weekly team huddle, fifteen minutes, same time, three questions: what got done, what is stuck, what matters most this week. The one-page operating rhythm template in this pack gives you the structure.

Lever 2, the numbers you can see. You cannot run what you cannot see. You do not need a dashboard. You need five to seven numbers you look at every Monday. The Monday scorecard template gives you a starting set. Pick the few that tell you whether the week is on track, and look at them every week without fail.

Lever 3, get out of every decision. The goal is not to work harder. It is to build a team that can decide without you. Start by writing down the one process you get interrupted about most, so the next person can follow it. The owner-dependence checklist in this pack shows you the ten signs the business runs through you and the first fix for each.

Lever 4, the margin you are not watching. Revenue is vanity. Margin is the truth. Know what you actually make on each product, service, or job, not just the top line. This is usually where the fastest money hides, in the work you are doing that quietly loses.

Your next step. This pack gives you the tools to start. If you would rather see exactly where your operations stand and get a prioritized plan, that is what the Operations Diagnostic does. It is a short, low-risk engagement that ends in a written findings report you keep, whether or not we work together further. Book a 30-minute call and we will see if it fits.

2. Template: the one-page operating rhythm

The rhythm that replaces interruptions. Fill in your own. Keep it to one page on the wall.

Rules that make it work: same time every week, start and end on time, someone owns the follow-ups, and it is a conversation, not a status report you could have emailed.

3. Template: the Monday scorecard

Five to seven numbers, looked at every Monday. Not a dashboard. Just the truth of the week. Swap these for the ones that fit your business.

If a number is red two weeks running, it becomes the topic of your weekly meeting until it is green.

4. Guide: the owner-dependence checklist

Ten signs the business runs through you, and the first fix for each. Tick the ones that are true.

If you ticked more than a few, that is normal, and it is exactly what a diagnostic sorts into a plan. Book a 30-minute call.
