Training & Education, Operations & Management

Operations and management training
for public service and non-profits.

Bilingual, in-house training in Lean, continuous improvement, and the fundamentals of running a team, built for public-service teams and not-for-profits and delivered on your own processes. In French or English, across Canada.

1Who it's for

Built for public-service teams
and not-for-profits.

The training arm is built for two kinds of team: public-service groups (municipal, provincial and federal) and not-for-profit organizations. Both are full of people who learned the work by doing it, under pressure, with no one to show them a better way. That is not a gap in ability. It is a gap in training. These programs give a working team the language and the tools of good operations: how to see waste, how to standardize a process, how to run to a number, and how to keep improving without a consultant in the room.

The work is delivered in-house, on your own processes, so what the team learns on day one is something they can apply on day two. Every program runs in French or English, and we deliver across Canada. Owner-run business teams can be trained too, and for them the training often leads into fractional operations.

2The programs

What we teach.

01

Lean & Continuous Improvement, public-sector teams

Process improvement for government and public-service teams, taught by someone who worked inside a federal agency and knows how the public sector actually runs. The most requested, and the hardest to source in French.

In-house · FR/EN
02

Lean for Community Service, not-for-profits

An introductory Lean session for a mission-driven team: see value and waste, shorten wait times, and file cleaner funder reports, in the language of your mission rather than the factory floor. The first session is free, so a director watching every dollar can say yes.

Free first session · FR/EN
03

Operations & management fundamentals, new managers

For the person who was promoted for being good at the job and never trained to run it: planning, organizing, delegating, and managing to a handful of numbers that matter.

In-house · FR/EN
04

Lean White Belt & Yellow Belt, full teams

A shared foundation for an entire team, so continuous improvement becomes a habit rather than a project. Delivered as an in-house cohort, not an open-enrollment course.

In-house · FR/EN
05

Lean & process improvement, owner-run businesses

The practical Lean toolkit for a small business and its managers: mapping the work, finding the waste, cutting cycle time, and building the standard so the improvement holds. Often the first step toward fractional operations.

In-house · FR/EN
3How it runs

On your processes,
in your language, on a schedule.

In-house, not generic

We build each session around your real work, so the examples are your processes and the exercises produce something you keep.

Taught by a Black Belt who has run operations

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and former Canada Revenue Agency auditor, teaching from years of running and improving real operations.

Bilingual, FR or EN

Delivered in the language your team works in, which is what makes a session something they use rather than sit through.
